Current Music: 'Miserere Mei' - Allegri
Which movie sequel do you like better than the first, and why?
There are two sequels I prefer over the original film, and they're both by James Cameron. The first is 'Aliens', because, first of all, this time there's more than one alien. I also find the sequel to be much more action-packed - the first 'Alien' was more like 'Ten Little Indians' in space. This time, there's more potential victims, and more aliens lurking round the next corner to grab you. Plus, Sigourney Weaver's Ripley is just a badass. Her fight scene against the alien queen is classic.
The second is 'Terminator 2', which continues a decade after the first movie, but this one goes to 11 compared to the 1984 original. Arnie's a good guy, Sarah Connor is a killing machine in her own right, and the T-1000 is unstoppable. Add Guns 'N Roses to the mix, and the first movie looks like a Merchant Ivory production.

Current Music: 'Heaven' - I Monster
Gettin' my Irish on a bit early. It's okay, I'm really Irish. ;)
Current Music: 'Frontier Psychiatrist' - The Avalanches
This is something I've needed to get off my chest for a while. Some of it may be common sense, some may be personal preference.
I love cheese. I love eating cheese on food. But not THIS food:
Fish (including crab/shrimp/scallops)
Fruit (I don't get people who eat apples with cheese. I have nothing against fruit plates with cheese, just as long as they are not touching on the plate or in my mouth.)
Boxtie (I know, technically stew, but if you can think about having cheese and Guinness in your mouth at the same time, you've a stronger stomach than me)
I'm sure I'll think of more later, but for now that's all I can do. If you'll excuse me, I have to go throw up now.
* I know because I've tried it.
+ With the exception of Parmesan cheese.

Current Music: NOT 'Let's Talk About Spaceships'
Can there be some sort of moratorium on fanmixes using 'Let's Talk About Spaceships' by Say Hi To Your Mom? That is the most overused song going round right now. Especially on any Doctor/Rose mix. I mean, c'mon. There are scads of Muse songs just waiting to be used, amirite? Believe me, if I knew how, I'd make a Ten/Rose mix without a trace of that song. In the meantime, I can only bitch.

Current Music: 'Rabbit Heart (Raise It Up)' - Florence & The Machine
Ugh. So tired. So sore. So ready to leave this house. I have some major cabin fever (not the good, flesh-eating, Eli Roth kind, either).

Current Music: 'Farewell' - Apocalyptica
Why does Yahoo Mail invite so much spam? Why do I get more spam/Photobucket comment updates than I do actual mail? How come no one ever emails me? Is it my crippling social anxiety? ;D
Current Music: 'Hymne a L'amour' - Edith Piaf
So I deleted my MySpace page about a month ago. Don't know if I allowed myself time to mourn. Though to be honest, the one thing I regret is not saving some of my blog entries, especially the Itty Bitty Movie Reviews. Maybe I'll start them up here. Or maybe I'll do it all over again on Twitter*. Who knows, going that route might lead to a book deal (or useless, disappointing CBS sitcom).
(*No, I'm not giving out my Twitter address.)
Current Music: 'The Lightening Strike' - Snow Patrol
I'm still here. And pretty angry that I've been hiding myself. I'd like to think new year, new me. I guess we'll see if I adhere to that philosophy or bury myself again. If you'll excuse me, it's time I started digging out.

Current Music: Ending - Akira Ifukube
Not the movie, though I do wanna see that. I'm so psyched about Halloween! Even though I'm not ready for summer to be over, I'm kinda looking forward to the cooler weather. And being able to afford a decent costume this year. That'll kick arse. I'm totally gonna be Tonks this year. Should be an easy costuem to assemble. I mostly need a wand and a purple wig (I could dye my hair, but I just went ginger and I kinda like it). Think I'll go shopping Saturday since everyone else will be busy with other stuff. Oh well, less distractions I guess. I'm so psyched too cos I love the Spirit store! I wish they were open year round! Oh well. Maybe someday I'll learn to sew and get a sewing machine and make my own awesome clothes and everyone can jump up my butt. Not at the same time though. :D

Current Music: 'Feeling Good' - Michael Buble
Okay, so I haven't seen the whole thing yet, but this movie is pretty funny if, like me, you enjoy your humour on the blacker than black side. It has a pretty interesting cast - Robert Lindsay, Jason Isaacs...
Oh, and you totally get to see David Thewlis' naked arse. XD
